And the $60k question is what do you think of it compared with the Aston. Answer in no less than 500 words and use illustrations!

Maybe not to a DBS owner, but isn't this a bit risky for AM to be handing these out as loaners?

I know two people who plumped for the original one over the DB9.....I'd be concerned that AM owners may realise how bloody good this car is (and how well priced it is) and jump ship come trade-in time!

This is just a light-hearted comment you realise!

Nice looking car...but does anyone else in here think that the Jag below looks a little like an elongated Porker?

The headlights, the shortish bonnet, the roofline etc..?

If it is the dealer I think it is, then they are Aston/Jaguar/Land Rover.

What would you think of the XKR with another 120 hp and higher spec suspension etc.

laugh they are Aston/Jaguar/Land Rover/Hyundai/Seat/Alfa/Fiat/Volvo/Mazda/Skoda/Ford all at the same place - it is a bit confusing for an AM customer i have to admit... BUT they are very kind when it comes to loaners smile

You have to look at it every day if you buy one though. That used to be a problem inside and out. Now, they have improved the inside.

Considering that the top of the range Jag is half the price of the DBS and that they are buildt next to each other in Gaydon one has to ask oneselves what the profit margin is the AML.

Eh? The XK is built at the Jagur factory at Castle Bromwich. Not sure where you got that from.

to large - not very comfortable on our 3rd world roads in town here in Germany and i am always scared to get the car scratched - all in all that spoils a bit the pleasure of driving here - perhaps i am getting old and like my friend Adrian says: i am ready for Cardigan, Pipe and Slippers wink

Don't knock it until you've tried it! laugh

If you think the roads are Third World where you are come to Glasgow and try there. Then you will know what is meant by Frostschaden. Not only are they full of enormous potholes quite capable of breaking wheels, but the remains of the truly colossal quantities of road grit spread during the snow a month or two back is still lying everywhere, and vehicles travel around in dust clouds reminiscent of the Paris - Dakar Rally. A great way to pick up stone chips.

They have imho blown the budget on road grit, now they are falling to pieces.
