Car Text Check

Just been looking at a little run about for MrsSdppug98 which she has now decided she wants, are these car text checks any good for £3.95. As far as I can tell HPI want £20 but I can get a text check for £3.95, I get a feeling that the £3.95 may be a waste of money - anyone else used it

£15 on their website, I suppose it is still £5 cheaper than HPI

Not a lot, £4k on a 206 Quicksilver (It is for the wife )

I used the online version of mytextcheck, didn't show anything bad, however the car was only 650. So the risk wasn't great. It was the written off info that I was looking for.

I assume that tells you everything except for outstanding finance

Do you have any come back if car text check is wrong, I think HPI is about £30k max

There are a couple of sites here I've had a decent service from before if its any use (for cheapo cars):

HPIchecker.com
TextCarCheck.com

But to be honest for peace of mind I'd always rather pay a bit more and get one with a better guarantee if i'm forking out for a decent motor. Yer pays yer money.....
