I used the search facility to find out the part number for the oil filter on my 400SE and could only find a Unipart one. However when cross-referencing this number the Fram filter is wrong. It is much longer than the one fitted. The motor factors I spoke to do not have TVR's on their list. Can anyone tell me what Fram filter to fit please.

Hi

Bigger the better!

That gives you more filtration.

You may be right, but I wasn't convinced there would be enough clearance when the bonnet was down?

Part number I've used on mine for the last 4 years is Fram PH2821A

And me - would be interested to know where else to get these from though as I've only ever found 1 place that stocks them.

Yes I've used them too - they fit OK.

2 places on the internet in the UK, costs £8.80 inc postage.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm pretty sure that was the one they wanted to sell me so I think the one on mine may be wrong then as its shorter. You live and learn eh?
