Has anyone heard of a hard top targa and where to get one "just the targa roof bit i mean!"

What 911 targa are you taling about? Do you just want a replacement roof section?

These can often be bought from breakers/dismantlers, or refurbished by people like Southbound.

New from OPC will cost £££s

Do you mean a non-folding roof, without the vinyl, but metal or fiberglass instead?

If so then I think you're out of luck. I did hear of a fiberglass thing from the states but there were problems with vibration at speed and you can't get them any more anyway.

Saw a fibreglass roof on a 1980 911SC in Porschtech in Bristol when I was looking for a 911SC but didn't test drive car so can't comment on vibration etc. Car is now sold but Rob (the boss) might be able to comment, see www.porschtech.com
