griffith 400 or Sag?
Discussion
I am about to take a decision to either go for a Griffith 400 or a Sag, which are in the same ballpark price wise. What should I do? Is the FIA discussions that will eventually kill the 400, is it the fantastic Speed6, is it road handling of the old Griff, is it the looks of an orange Sag?
oooh, I love those old cars...
--Griffith 200 is a very sweet shape (rear)
--Griffith 400 is a bit better to own and also sweet and the nice cortina's
--Tuscan V8 series (old cars) are also nice
--Griffith 400 a good one or high spec race is timeless.
A Sagaris is nice but...?
then again a Sagaris with a V8 conversion is ok

my mistake, didn't realise you were referring to the old Griff. Coincidentally enough I was discussing them this week with a buddy of mine who used to race them in the Historics, here's his commentary:
"It was one of the most successful Group S Sportscars in Australia.
1999 to 2005: 53 Races
47 Outright Group S wins against all manner of Sportscars.
Porsche 2.7 Carrera's, Bizzarini 7 litre NASCAR engined Hot rods, Chev powered Iso Rivolta' & Corvettes - everything.
It weighed 900 Kg, and had 440 BHP Ford 289, so it was a weapon."
