Cerbera V8 Racing 2010

After a very quiet winter we are now ready at last for the 2010 season!

This year we will be competing in the GT Cup, we will be in the top class racing against the Ferrari F430's, Porsche GT3's and of course a couple of TVR's. The full championship has been entered including the European round at Spa.
Unfortunately the class 1 that we raced in last year has been disbanded so we have had to reduce the performance of the car to alow it to run in the new class 1. This has meant loosing over 50 bhp at the wheels and adding 20kg of weight.
 
I'm not sure how this is going to effect the performance. We haven't managed much pre season testing so there are still question marks over how quick we will be. We shall soon see!
 
The first race is next weekend at Silverstone and the full calendar is on our website.
 
As always it would be great to see as many of you as possible at the races! Its a great feeling seeing a few TVR's in the car park. If you want to keep up to date we are also now live as a group on facebook where I will be posting forth coming dates and results etc.

Mike, I've had a poke around on the GT Cup webpage and the MSV website and still can't find any info on tickets and pricing. I'm looking at coming down for the race next Sunday - can you point me in the right direction for tickets please!!! Can't wait to see a Cerbera showing the 430's and GT3's the way home!!

I had a great summers afternoon at Brand Hatch last May, laying back in the sunshine, watching GT Cup and A1GP cars flying past.

Will definately try and get back for Brands Hatch again this year, and hopefully Snetterton as well.

go to the Silverstone website, make sure that you click on view all and tick club racing on the events page and it's there;

Mike, I'm happy to just pay the £11 on the gate. I am definitely planning on going now, so only the weather may stop me, otherwise I'm really looking forward to it. Assuming I do make it I'll try and pop over to say hello if I can get access to the paddock/pit area.

Which race will you and the other Cerb/Tuscan be in - the 1430 or the 1730?

Danny Winstanley, who i help with pads, and Craig at dyno Torque rebuilt the Motor, had two 4ths in his AJP engined Tuscan. Was up to 2nd at one point.
