I've been quoted £450 to replace the clutch on my 5.0 chimaera by a TVR independent does this sound reasonable?

Sounds cheap to me too, is that labour only or a full parts/labour/vat price .

That is full replacement price, at Top Cats, Just serviced the car and it cost less than expected

I'll remember that then, cheers. I understood that a decent performance clutch, not a standard rover one, was £250+ for a TVR. So if thats £450 for fully fitted, no extra's etc, then I would expect a queue at their door at that price.

Clutch for Chim/Griff 500 is circa £285.00 plus VAT retail from TVR. I guess circa four hours labour to fit?
