Just saw Ng on sky being interviewed with members of the various parties and some female Labour mp in "barking??"
Woman from labour would not shut up and let others speak bit of a media we. Other mps were being generally quite derogatory/insulting towards NG excepting the one chap from Tory party.

Tory candidate actually refused to answer questions until other people being interviewed were quiet and allowed him to answer and pointed out very clearly people are allowed their opinion whether believed to be wrong or not very politely.

Nick Griffin came across really well. Very polite and answered the questions posed calmly (unlike the others) and clearly.

This is why bnp are getting votes. They are the polar opposite of almost all other politicians out there. not being hysterical shouting and screaming just clamly and politely trying to put their views across like adults.

His QT appearance was exactly ike this too, everyone trying to be "right on" and shout him down and beittle his poicies. The trouble is the people who are considering voting for him clearly think his policies have some merit and slating them is slating that portion of the electorate by proxy which just entrenches them in their views and gives them a stronger base from which to grow.

The recent revelations about Labours unchecked immigration stats and the amount of newly created jobs going to immigrants further weakens the position of conventional politicians of all colours. Politicians should be engaging the BNP voters and offering opinions and reasons as to why the BNP policies may be needlessy vitriolic and xenophobic. But they arent doing this, theyre just caling him an idiot and mocking him, making him a martyr to his followers and people who are on the edge of following him.

Standard OP of Labour/Lib Dems. They believe that freedom of thought/speech applies only to those views they agree with. Their hypocrisy astounds me.

But either way, I hope NG is not coming across well, I don't want people to vote for his party. A shame that Labour have wrecked this country to the extent that people will be happy to vote for the BNP.

Me i hate labour idiots and scumbags. Lib dems are odd and dangerous too.

Am planning on voting cons myself but after this latest fiasco from cons about their road charging plans makes it very tempting to vote bnp tbh.

Vote UKIP, they have the sensible policies without the racism.

One day, all of this will sadly be academic; the Asian-Islamic vote will be prevalent in all the major cities/key constituencies, and the UK will no longer be; but merely reduced to a canton of the Federal European Union. And people think the BNP is their worse case scenario?

Nick is one of the most astute politicians and he has to be. He shows others up.

He would get my vote if things weren't as extreme as they are although I haven't really seen extreme views coming from the BNP but others just say they are extreme.

I think they will continue rising in popularity
You say that 'things' are extreme so you won't vote for them but then go on to say you have not actually seen extreme views coming from them. So then why won't you vote for them.

Don't get me wrong I have no love for the BNP and would not vote for them but was wondering why you wouldn't?

You think their leader is the best of the lot and stands head and shoulders above the rest so where is the problem?

Griffin is an idiot. Unfortunately, all you have to do to appear impressive, is to give precise and clear answers, and respect the protocols of debating. It's more of an indictment of the other MPs than anything else.

A recent interview with Griffin. I find it hard to believe that anyone would be happy to have him representing us at any level.

I've just read the article in detail, which part of it did you object to?
I thought he came across as worryingly rational.

Really, is this why Mark Collett was recently questioned by police over an alleged death threat on Griffin?

They're a bunch of racist fkwits in nice suits. Don't let appearances fool you.

I thought a lot of his responses were evasive at best and outright lies at worst, specifically the points about

BNP and jews/zionists
Having West Indian members
Misquoting the Koran
Denying the holocaust.

Having said that, the lies and evasiveness makes him no different to any politician.

He said the BNP were against anti semitism
He more than likely can produce west indian members
I haven't read the Koran
I agree that holocaust denyers are scum but freedom of speech should apply.
I can see why the party are growing with this man at the helm and it is worrying in the extreme, I would prefer their figurehead was a frothing racist, unfortunately this guy seems quite clever and sensible. A lot of people will not see through the half truths and his party are exploiting our strong sense of, healthy, national pride.

A friend of mine recently joined UKIP and I read the material they sent.
Once we've got these aholes out of power by voting Tory I will be joining as well and casting a UKIP vote.
I don't think they could ever be a real political force but if eneough vote for them one of the mainstream parties may look at pulling out of Europe which I will happily vote for.

There are those who say that we have to vote Tory to ensure that Winky doesn't get back in.

In a few years/parliaments time everyone will be as pissed off with the Torys as they currently are with Winky and will be saying that we have to vote Labour to ensure that the Torys don't get back in.

IMHO There is so little to choose between CMD and Winky that a vote of either is still just a vote for 5 more years of the same st and mismanagement.

There has to come a time when we break out of the cycle of alternating Red and Blue and vote for something different.

CMD and Winky will continue down the EUSSR/Green/Socialism route so I will vote UKIP now.

"Or in Northern mill towns with Muslim gangs preying on white and Sikh girls and lads of other communities. It's just a fact. In Northern towns, you're dealing with dozens of families with 13 and 14-year-old daughters, who have been, and are being, gang raped by Muslims, so it's precisely that. But this isn't a rape issue, this is a cultural issue."

I've never seen anything to back up this 'fact'

Although I don't think I'll be voting UKIP, I agree with you completely. The two main parties are simply not good enough and unless the public reflect this with their votes nothing will change.

Hate to say it, but the politics of insult gets them votes.

You are right, they are nasty people at the centre. Trouble is, the establishment is led by liars and thieves.

The BNP aren't winning support, far from it. The rest are making them look attractive, and seem proud of it, dropping to their level.

I live in a solid labour seat, that suddenly isn't looking so solid as their core support wanders off to the BNP before the proper opposition (BNP got 8% last euro election, ffs)
