I was contemplating buying an Origin or Road Angel but to be honest, speed cameras are highly visible and I don't drive dangerously fast on inner city roads so slowing down is not a problem...

So I was wondering if it worthwhile just buying a Target LRC100 for motorway blats etc where I can *safely* travel at around 100 but don't want to be caught.

Any thoughts?

I have got a Cheetah radar detector and an LRC100, I think the best thing to do is get both a jammer and a GPS system, it depends on how you drive lots of miles on unknown roads get a GPS, if not maybe a jammer is best.

I thought about this when I had the Chim.

The thing I could never understand is where would you put it?

could you not fit it between the grill and the radiator?

Mine is a face lift model so it sits just under the bonnet, if it is a pre-face lift, I guess you would have to cut a hole in the grill.

Need to be as close as possible to number plate.

Thats just it, mine didnt have a grille and nor do the cerbs. The best you could do is attach it to the GRP bar that runs through the place where the grille was on the older cars...

I though just mounting it on the bar that holds the number plate would do??

I don't really drive in many unknown roads so I though jammer would suffice...

I have a Jammer only at present, thinking of getting a GPS unit too but I suppose it depends where you drive.

I am sure you could, but a black box on a silver car is going to stand out and look bloody awful...

I thought the head of the jammer is about the diameter of a 2p coin... Black box?

The only ones I have seen are quite big, about the same size as a packet of fags...

the LRC100 is about the size of small box of matches (H*W) and about 2 matchboxes long.
