Hi,

Wonder if anyone has a suggestion....not a very Piston Heads car, but my wife is working in Aberdeen this week....has driven up from Bedfordshire in a Peugeot 306 Diesel....and has broken the exhaust. She sent me a photo, and it is a failed welded joint on it....which I reckon could be re-welded, either way a quick call to crap-fit suggested it was a £450 repair (!) and needed a CAT....which it doesen't even have !!!....so my question, anyone recommend a good friendly garage of mechanics, not fitters that will give an honest answer on whether it can be welded, or if not can do a decent job replacing it.

Thank you

Russell

Off topic, but OP, I couldn't help notice your name, do you have a thing for going into parking spaces with use of the handbrake? biggrin

I know where you are coming from....but alas no, but it has been confused a few times.....never to my advantage. Last time was the excellent used Jag spares place on Darlington, Eurojag..which is the home of the BL ad's best driver....I did point out I had tried getting my LWB Jag sovereign on to two wheels, but with limited success !
