Just been looking at a photo of the speedo in a 2.7D and it goes up to 170mph, with 90mph at the top. What's all that about then?

Thats just how they are, In england we cruise on the motor way at 90, dont we.

Alaso take note of the rev counter. 90mph in my 2.7 auto is 2,500 revs so at 90 the needles in both dials are exactly at 12 0'clock. Just part of Jags attention to detail old chap!

That Audi speedo is comedy. Whoever is in charge of ergonomics there needs a kick in the head for that effort.
