reliable power supply

Gents, an electic question, where is best to get a reliable power supply that switches on with the ignition,

I have I think a reliability issue with my current aftermarket installation where a new relay switches on as the fuel pump gets it's feed from the ignition. Hence giving me power directly from the battery.
It might be a bad connection but need to try an alternative to rule this out.

I have not been brave enough to go near the relay box as yet, but this might be the time,

The Fuel pump relay is driven by the ECU. It come on with the ignition to prime the fuel rail and then goes off again until the engine is actually running. Is that perhaps why you think it is intermittent.

Push a spade terminal into some of the spare relay sockets in the fusebox & you will find some that are switched with the ignition (use your own fuse).

Probably the easiest & quickest way to test your hypothesis about the ECU?

I was thinking I could swop it out for an existing fuse ( old ecu) and then i get a supply turned on when the ignition does.
