What happened to the re-branding??? Is it ongoing in other areas and I've just missed it or has it been binned as a waste?
Just came to mind while I was watching the IPL at the weekend and nearly every ad break had a Pizza Hut advert for either the lunchtime buffet or the delivery service.

Was it not just a marketing gimmick to promote the fact that they were now doing pasta as well or for some new flavors of pasta.

Yeah they were never going to change it. It was just to prove they're not completely unhealthy by offering pizza and a salad bar that generally wasn't used.

That'd make sense I guess. As long as they still do the unlimited ice cream, I don't care what they call themselves.

IIRC they were going to try it at selected outlets with a view to rolling it out but decided against it in the end. Pizza Hut are pizza makers and they decided to stick to their core product in the same way McD decided not to do pizzas. Also, I think this mostly came about after a fast food backlash in the media that has since subsided.
