Tequila is a good choice. When I was in charge of the music at a New Years Party at the turn of the Millennium, the one song that really got everybody going (especially the oldies) was, surprisingly, 'Song 2' by Blur. Can't go wrong with a bit of Russ Abbot 'atmosphere' either
