Okay, ive always been happy with the noise the Z4M makes... until yesterdays tunnel run being stuck behind an Aston and Ferrari..

So, what options are there for an induction and exhaust improvement - i dont want stupidly loud, or intrusive droning on the motorway, but would like to "Up the noise a bit"

How about starting with a CSL style air box.

Whilst those products above are no doubt excellent you may want a cheaper alternative like the Gruppe-M Carbon induction kit

Or another option on full plenum:

Exhausts there are many options depending on personal taste, if you want loud for RPI ( One on Ebay at the moment), a good compromise is the Eisenmann road system, personally I like this one:

You`ll probably find information like that on their respective websites. This is another option on intake, as good as but cheaper than the Gruppe-M (some say)

There`s a guy on z4-forum called sixspeed, you may want to talk to him about his Hayward and Scott exhaust, back boxes and x pipe for £700 ish, he also has the Gruppe-M intake. He`ll be able to tell you about noise!
