Have been a customer of AOL for around 8yrs as I have been happy with the service with very few problems.Im currently on the Silver package @ 14.99 per mth which I think is unlimited downloads. They now want to sign me up for another 18mths.Their offer is £7.50 for 2 or 3mths then rising back to £14.99.I would prefer a tenner a month but in order to get that from them you have to threaten to leave as I have done previously.I would like to know what else is out there which is very similar to the AOL package at £10 per mth ?

AOL - ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ah ah hah ah aha hahahahaa!!!

remember and change your ADSL filters every 6 months, I find if I stick them in the washing machine they last for another 6 months...

Seriously, why are AOL still in business, they are the worst broadband company I have ever had the misfortune of using, and I've been with BT ffs!!

You could do alot worse than changing to someone like O2 or Be, they do cheap packages.

If you want a better company then you will have to spend more £££.

I'm with AOL. Last year I had Sky HD fitted and was going to go the whole hog and have their broadband as well. I was paying AOL £14.99/m, same as you, for the old silver package. I phoned up to cancel and was offered double speed, unlimited download for £6.49/m including weekend calls for the full 12 months. So thats what I did. I've been with AOL for about 8 years too and haven't really had any problems.

Even if you don't mind AOL tell them that you want to change supplier, when we changed supplier they kept dropping their price to try to keep us. But I'd just change supplier anyway.
