Who's running it? Where do you book?

Im not sure who's running it, I just called Llandow circuit and they said thats when the next one was and so I booked there and then, so i suggest calling for more info. Hope to see you there.

My brakes are making horrid noises, I think I might be running pretty much on the metal at the front.

That was a great track for the mx-5.

Dimski, if it's any consolation my brakes are also making some very strange noises. The investigation will begin next weekend.

It was a great day. Thanks for the passenger rides, and it was great fun chasing you, hopefully I'll be able to stay closer. Or at least get past slow Westfields!

I got some good videos, I'll have to try to get them online.

My pads were destroyed. One of them fell apart as I took it off the car. Less than 0.5mm of pad left. I was very lucky that I didn't destroy the disk. It took 5 hours to change them. New ones wouldn't fit. They were painted yellow, and the paint meant they fouled as they went in.

Hi Dimski, think the rads ok, it held up last time ! Phoned llandow circuit today and they say there may be another trackday on may 22nd as the track was booked privately but they have cancelled. So may see you there.

can you still book the circuit outright? might be worthwhile if a group can get together (i am bristol based so its not too far) and i may have something "sporting" come the autumn... last i heard it was about £800 so 800/10 and a bit of self regulation to get some free track space =

Get 20 people and it makes the cost very reasonable...

However, the day on the 24th April, there was only circa 20 cars there, so it was pretty exclusive. And the etiquette was quite good, most were allowing a pass if caught (only one exception, who refused to let both mx-5s, a westfield/caterham and a clio past. To be fair, I think he got pulled up on that...) I'm hoping to book on for the next one on May 22nd.

well i would be up for something later in the year and could easily get half a dozen.... might even get it cheaper in sept/oct?

I would definatly be up for hiring it between us if we could get numberes up, i also have a few friends who i belive would be very interested. Gutted i cant do the 22nd as i have an exam that morning! But i may pop down in the afternoon to have a gander at whats going on an perhaps blag a ride or two with you guys. I think i most certainly need a different set of track wheels/tyres next time, the focus just eats up those front tyres! Nice to meet all of you guys, hope to see you again soon.
