I ordered stalks from autobionics, and really happy with it.

Must say I am impressed and very happy with the product.
Good quality all over: the parts, manual, wiring etc

Don't know if I am allowed to make such a promotion?
But if you think about buying a set do so, you won't be disappointed.
You can find them here: www.autobionics.co.uk/

No doubt in my mind they are fantastic, both very professional and produce great products. Not only that they follow up with upgrades without being asked. I cant recommend them enough, they did the same indicators for me except personalised instead of Ultima text.

Looking good!

Maybe a Lovely product, and it certainly looks nice. But £500 for a Modified ford stalk set seems a little high to me, even with a nice loom and instruction set.... or is it just me ? Can buy a set of wheels for that.....

+1

I am sure that Autobionics spent a lot of time and effort in developing these, and working out where to interface with the factory wiring loom, but they do seem a little bit expensive.... I imagine that someone could spend £500 with Autobionics, and then re-create the set using plain black Escort stalks and a copy of the Autobionics wiring looms, and instructions.....unless, of course Autobionics decide to offer such a set themselves, for say, £100-£120 tops ?

Looks very nice. Good job! What about the weight? Will the car start to flash left and turn on the wipers if you jump a curb?

I have seen and examined a set of these, very nice engineering and finish. Am told the springs are upgraded to cope with the additional weight what I didn't ask was whether the spring 'mountings' had been beefed-up too.
Previously being Ford lightweight moulded items I would think several mods would be involved in producing a long lasting end product. That being the case might justify the alarming price tag.......hard to say without seeing the internal work.

Hmmmm... let me see, £500 for these vs about £25 quid for a brand new set of Ford stalks and a bit of headscratching with a multimeter.

I'm glad I went with the latter!

They look nice enough, but that's a shedload of cash for what is essentially an aluminium version of the Ford items.

I have to say the cost saving is appealing but wasnt an option for me at the time due to lacking knowledge and no other options.

If i only i knew then what i know now!! Still happy with what i have though.

I fitted the stalks and it all worked out very fine.

Good manual, wiring with fitted connectors/tabs and relays are also high quality.

Very happy with the product. Good value for your money.

Weight is very low, not full material I suppose,
don't know if they drop down, car is not on the road yet,
but it feels okee/stiff on the handles.
Hit the dash hard with the hand, did not flip down.
