MS have joined the phone market directly. Interesting, was under the impression they were totally against this, didn't they have a pop at Google for the N1??

A long time coming as usual There were loud talks of a MS phone over a year ago. No doubt it will be about as good and as popular as the Zune.

"Aimed at younger users".

This, in my experience, is an anagram of "st".

Dead in the water before it's even started if that's the case.

Complete lack of understanding of the market by Microsoft. Though Apple seem to have put their foot in it a bit with the developer news regarding OS4.0

I tried living with recent Windows mobile flavours and found they keep freezing, leading to lost calls. And in Windows mobile 6 and 6.1 the SMTP email account stops working by itself too for a few of my customers requiring you to delete and recreate the email settings. MS don't fix these problems, they just release the next mobile OS with new problems. I will never recommend that anyone wastes time and money on Windows Mobile unless they are a geek of course and happy to put up with the problems. I hope Microsoft get out of the phone market!
