Alpina E46 vs 330i E46

Hi all

My brothers looking at an E46 Alpina B3 - 5k for a 99 model with circa 115k on the clock.

He's also considering a 330i for similar money but is kind of tempted by the extra power of the Alpina

Can anybody shed any light on which one to go for? Whats the PH community view on teh Alpinas?

Alpinas - good.

I had an E46 B3 coupe.

Seems a good price. What's the spec/history/condition?

Unless in manual mode it may seem a bit of a slouch as it will sit in a high gear at low speed.
