my laptop had a virus which is now sorted but on a restart i get a box saying

error loading c:\windows\ojunudowubcudi.dll

i cant find any reference to this file on google, virus or spyware/malware progs dont find anything either

any ideas?

Start -> Run -> 'msconfig'

What's in the 'startup' tab?

What was the virus? Looks like it installed a random-named DLL and the instruction to load it at start-up is still present. I'd have a Search for that name in the Registry and see what you find...

cant remember what the virus was. No reference to the dll in the registry,so i've just disabled it via msconfig

Given what msconfig is doing behind the scenes, I'm a little confused. But, whatever works!
