Gallardo Brake Pads
Discussion
The wear warning light came on this morning, confusing since the outer pads look fine on all wheels. I guess it's wheels off time at the weekend to take a look.
Should they need replacing, there has been a lot of postings on here re RS6 or RS4 pads that are identical. Can someone say difintitvely if they do actually fit and if so from what model year Audi? Mine is an 04 G.
Not being cheap, i just feel that paying Lambo £800 for a set of pads is a bit steep!
Cheers

Very useful thanks.
I assume that's for the fronts.. any idea on the rears, in case thats where the issue lies?
I am not sure, I got that part number by using google a while ago, I am trying to compile a list of cross compatible parts in case I need them in the future! I did come across these, not sure if they are any good though. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAMBORGHINI-Gallardo-5-0-200...I assume that's for the fronts.. any idea on the rears, in case thats where the issue lies?
Thanks once again. these are good, but i don't think have the wear sensors, which i would like. I recall a thread a while back about a place in Birmingham that can supply te OEM Brembo (?) pads for a reasonable price. I think thet were APE, but the 0121 382 ... number on the net is a different company. Anyone know how i can get hold of them these days?

I can't believe anyone could know so little about cars that fitting brake pads would be an issue, surely you are joking?neil-f said:
(unfortuneatly the ones for the Ferrari ceramic discs are a tied part so they are not allowed to sell them).
