Hi anyone?

Simple quick question. Is there a website where I can upload some pictures still, in good quality, which then allows other people to download them onto there PC without cost much or is very check?

Dropbox will do this, but it isn't a photo sharing site.

Basically it's like a free folder that you can store stuff on online. So you can go on and download all the photos, but it won't let you view them in the same way Flickr etc. lets you view them.

They give you 2gb free.

If you have more than 2gigs photos you could always upload them then wait for your friends to download them, then upload the rest.

As above, there is a veritable plethora - I choose imageshack click, but most of them are pretty good.

Thank you very much for your ideas and I like the idea of Dropbox as I only need to share the files and don't want to send a massive e-mail.

I'll look into this tonight once home.

I use the PixelPipe app. on my mobile to load directly from my phone to a hosting site of my choice (PhotoBucket in my case).
And the app. is free!

Picasa is google's equivalent too.

Also, something I rediscovered that I completely forgot I had recently is the webspace bundled in by your ISP - they normally give you a couple of gigs for nothing, and you can put whatever you like up there via an FTP client (such as Filezilla, for instance) - this is better suited if you need to hot-link photos where some corporate intranets may block the bigger photo sharing sites, for instance - less good if you want a photo gallery though, unless you want to code one yourself in HTML!

www.yousendit.com is handy if you don't want the photos generally available to the masses.
