Given recent events in Poland, I'm curious what peoples thoughts are on what would happen over here if something similar were to happen?
I ask because as a nation, I just can't see us doing the same as the Poles have done i.e. a week of national mourning, coffins lying in state etc.
Easy to bash Gordon but what I'm driving at is why does this happen in Poland but wouldn't happen here?
(Perhaps I'm guilty of totally underestimating the importance of the chap as I don't claim to know anything about Polish politics/history).
