Windscreen washers

I have just replaced the full run of my windscreen washer hoses. Getting to the bottle was a laugh! Couldn't be arsed taking off the front grille, so went in from the lights access panel. it's a miracle the washers ever worked at all. The pipe was crushed in 3 places, and must have been like that since it was installed. The check valve to stop all the water heading back to the tank was also goosed . Got the wipers off ebay with the integral jets as well. It all works a treat now.A pain in the butt, fiddly, uneccessarily aggravating, but all in all well worth doing.

Had the car for a year, and the passenger side washer's tube is not connected anywhere. The hose coming from the bottle stops 5cm short of the hose on the actual washer..!

One of my mates got a kit from ebay for his Chimaera, but doesnt really sit well on the windscreen. Which ones did you get? Can you send a link or something??

The item number is #200458250883. Sorry I have no idea how to link it. The ebay seller is called singlewiper. I had to get one wiper replaced, but after that they worked fine. I just got tubing from Halfords, 1 pack of 4.7mm and two packs of 3 point something mm and a new check valve. That allowed me to make the tubes equal length. I also routed the passenger side one up over the injector rail to keep it clear of the wiper mechanism.
