I have used them.

They stood out from other TDO's by having overtaking only by consent and a 3 spins and your off policy.

I am not a fan of either of the above rules.

Circuit days are the only company that I have used that insist the overtakee to be indicating to the right (inside) before the over take starts.

Normally TDO's ask
a)make sure there is sufficient space for the overtake
b)the overtakee should move to the right, lift off accelerator
c)only overtake on the straights

We all know that sometimes, people don’t move over when they should. This means that you wait and make the overtake when safe to do so (or drop back).

The overtakee indicating is a good practice but imo it should not be compulsory.

I don’t recall Javelin, Focused events or MSV asking for this.

Regardless, I still try to abide by the TDO's rules on the day.

May I add that I dont like the rule as when I am about to be overtaken, I move to the right. My indicator switches are located on the transmisson tunnel, which means I have to take my eyes off the track to operate them. I prefer to just move over and allow the overtake.

Pretty well every trackday I've been to, including the ones where I've done the briefing, have specified that overtaking must be by consent; I haven't noticed any difference on the briefing at CD events and I wouldn't have expected indication to be mandatory in every case - it is often preferable but there's other ways that you can make it obvious that you are ready to be overtaken and I'd be surprised if CD would have a problem with that.

Ditto... last few trackdays I've been to have been 'by consent' too. Easytrack, Goldtrack, MSV

Can.t fault these guys in any way, Member for 2 years. Myself & 2 friends all go to events together. (I'm the poor one with the cheap car) 1 friend recently had his day terminated for not obeying rules, and rightly so, he didn't argue. No comment on other organisers as not used any, Circuit Days offer the best value package
