as the title says can i polish my car now it has been smart guarded? i gather i can still wax the car as its only a protective layer?
problem is the car shows the dirt very quickly and i would rather clean it and detail it properly rather than just deal with this smart guard rubbish. i only wanted it for the interior protection as im expecting my first child.

I am not sure what 'smart guard' is, but most dealer sealants can simply be polished and waxed over if you aren't happy with them. If they are durable, they may resist the polishing and you'll have an extra layer of protection. If they aren't so durable, you have wax on top anyway.

Sure, cleanse it with a mild cleanser or polish (after washing) and then wax over the top. smile
