All marques Ace Cafe meet - Monday May 10th 2010

Thank you to everyone who came down to the Ace for April's meet, the weather was with us, the cars were sublime and as always everyone who came shared the Petrolhead Nirvana ethic of being friendly and welcoming. The highlights included a couple of Murcielagos, a gaggle of Ferraris, 3 Ariel Atoms a KTM x-bow and the beautiful XJ220.

As always, our Ace meets are relaxed and there are a steady stream of new faces to add to our collection of friends.

Our next meet will be on Monday May 10th, once again starting from around 6pm, if April was anything to go by it's worth getting there early to get a prime spot in the car park.

It's the week before the big charity event Dad's Day Out at Dunsfold Park so you'll be able to see some of the cars up close and personal. We'll be welcoming back those who went on the BASE tour, and the Lotus weekend also our sold out tour of Scotland will be a few days away. - So much fun, so little time!

So if you've never been to our Ace night before, you can be sure you'll get a friendly reception and plenty to look at and the Ace serves good food too, have you got anything better to do on a Monday night?

Ace Corner is the junction of Beresford Avenue and the old North Circular Road, between the A40 and the A404 (Harrow Road).

Travelling anti-clockwise on the North Circular Road: Take the second exit - signposted for Park Royal - after the traffic lights at Brentfields Road (where you'll see Ikea and McDonalds) . Turn right, then right again onto the old North Circular Road. The Ace is 100 yards on the left.

As someone who had not been to either the Ace Cafe or a Piston Heads meet I was very impressed by the friendliness of everyone I met. Sorry if my old Morgan Plus 8 looked out of place amongst the shiny Audi RS6 and fabulous Lambo's, but I was made very welcome. Love to be there next time if I can make it.

I'm glad you enjoyed the meet, i certainly enjoyed the look and sound of your car, (you're username rung true!) it's attitude more than cars that matters at these meets and as you can tell we're into all sorts of different cars.
