Seen today on A43 northbound at Syresham, 100yds past fixed site scamera. BiB sat on fold up garden seat, behind hedge, with speed gun, targeting people from rear. Totally obscured from the road. LOADS OF MONEY THANKS.

Bloody outrageous, it's just not right, are these scam artists accountable to anyone? Whoever it is? needs to be informed of this sort of underhand activity tking place and made to explain themselves for this sort of blatant highway robbery.

How can they justify this as a safety measure rather than a money raising scam.

A copy of " Road Policing Enforcement Technology Code of Practice, revised March 2003 " available at www.acpo.police.uk is handy to have in these circumstances...
Perhaps they should try reading it!

Yes, it's not just cameras that are revenue-gathering.

Before cameras, speed traps were often set up in places where there was most chance of catching drivers and it seems as if, even with fewer resources devoted to road policing nowadays, there is still time found for these activities.

Hello Deltaf and V8ers, the time was about 1135am, unfortunately I didnt have a camera with me, otherwise I would have sent it to all the papers as well as putting it on this site - if thats possible.
