Race Video Footage - Picture in Picture?
Discussion
Hi all,
Recently took some great footage of our MR2 Championship car caught between two cars for the entire race. I have a front cam and a rear cam and normally I use windows movie maker and just chop between the two views. This footage is something special though and I'd like to show both view pic in pic and flip between the two. I've had a brief go with Racerender, but couldn't see how you can sync the vids together.
What product should I be using?
Ta in advance.
Pete

Hi Pete,
I think that if you're in the habit of shooting video and intend on doing any post processing with it then a splurge on either After Effects, or Premiere - or ideally both - is very worth while.
If you are in the habit of using photoshop then you can already drive after effects a little so the learning curve starts shallow too.
You don't even need to splash out for the shiny new versions as I'm sure you could get hold of AE 8 for resonable dough.
If you don't fancy that then something like iMovie is great for occasional video editing - and it pains me to say that as a PC user (but the missus just edited her first holiday movie together and within half an hour we were watching it on the DVD player in the lounge with captioning, music, chapters the lot!)
or If its just this one movie then I could edit it for you?
Craig.

That's a very kind offer to edit it for me! I might well take you up on the deal.
I'll PM you.
