Easy to remove, two small bolts inside the boot (llok where the light is), just hold the assemby together when you spin the nuts off. Levern Technology (spelling?) do refurbished badges I think or offer that service, do a search for it as I remember seeing it posted recently.some of the chrome is coming of my boot relese badge, are they easy to remove so I can get it re chromed. Mat - I live close to Leven's and took my Tam down there for advice of what could be done to my rear badge because sounds like mine is in the same shoddy state as yours.
With that type of rear badge, they can't do anything. Its because its plastic apparently. There are some around that are metal suround and metal 'Tamora' and these ca be re-plated and enameled (they send them off somewhere I believe). But they metal ones are very hard to come by. I have had done some searching (fleabay etc) but didnt come up with anything.
About a year or so ago I started a thread on here to try and get 50 of together so we could do a group order to have some made up (chap on here did the same for Sagaris badges), but even some people agreeing to buy more than one badge I didn't get past about 25 I think.
