Service, West Mids and £££

Guys, where is the best place to take my 09 Elise SC for it's 9k service, and what should expect to pay? I'm in the West Mids/Shropshire area.

I take mine to Topgear Automotive, just north of central Wolverhampton. Fairly well recognised indies specialising in Lotus and TVR, they've got a website with 'standard' service details.

They are the 'couple of guys in an industrial estate unit' approach to garage services but none the worse for that, they seem to know their stuff and have always given me good service.

Paul Matty at Bromsgrove are pretty good - but on the South side of Birmingham, so a little further to travel - however, they are right on the M5/M42 junction, so easy access.

Thanks for that guys, I went to Top gear Wolves today to check out the workshop, seems like a good clean set up, they have a few TVR's and a Loti there at the mo. Booked in for end of April.

Reporting back on my findings at TopGear Automotive in Wolverhampton, as recommended on here.

Picked up my Loti from TGA today, It's a lot cleaner than I took it in, was covered in dirt from Scotland/Duns trip! They did the service and within 5 hours I had it back all cleaned up.

9k service was £161 + Vat. Very pleased! The work shop is spotless and the Kev and Martin are top guys who know a lot of stuff about Lotus and TVR.

I might also mention that I left my van there over night, so I had transport to work first thing.
The industrial estate that TGA is on, has 24hr security guards and they check who you are before letting you in, safe as houses!!
