Which model do you want to buy?

The 'Spider' is a convertible. There is not a Spyder AND a convertible.

Unless you're thinking of the new Grancabrio? That's the 4-seater version, recently released.

The convertible Mas has apparently got a bit of a waiting list at the moment and seem to be trading at a premium over list. If you want one, best bet would be to ring round the dealers and plonk your name on the list

As above, are you looking at brand new or used? If used, are you looking at the 4200 or the GranSport?

Response will be different to all above - easiest to get would be a 4200, then GS. Not sure what the deal is with a GranCabrio - saw one in GrayPaul Brum a couple of weeks back - very nice.

9 month wait ouch.
Went to look at a GT last week. It is massive far too big for me. I just don't need a car that size, which is a shame.
It is beautiful though.

I take it the situation on the GranCabrio isnt as bad as it was, given the amount of "delivery miles" cars for sale at main dealers at the moment. Seems a bit odd for a new car supposedly in demand and especially for a convertible in summer.

Yep it seems to have come down; 2 weeks ago HRO Brompton Road quoted me 6 months delivery now.

But I'm not about to change from my S5 Cab to a Grancab, just very curious biggrin

JCT Brooklands had three for sale about a month ago, not cheap, one was up for 110k.

They don't seem to be that expensive anymore. Looks like sub 100k will get you a new one (well, near as dammit).

I had to pop in to Dick Lovetts in Swindon today to pick up an oil filter for the Maser. Quite a few in the yard and on the forecourt, so I'm guessing at least a couple for immediate sale.

Didn't want to be vulgar and ask prices though. wink

Of all the metal in the yard, Mrs Maser quite taken with the Gallardo Superleggera in the showroom, said it's the only one she would fancy driving herself (the rest were 'too posey' apparently).

woohoo

Frantically saving pennies....
