What happened to that uninsured 17y/o guy who side-swiped the police car?
I didn't hear anything about the prosecution of him at the end of
programme voice-over. (I could be going deaf, though.)
Indeed! I couldn't believe his lack of awareness, and the uninsured thing was a piss boiler of the highest order.I didn't hear anything about the prosecution of him at the end of

At least he indicated...

He wasn't mentioned at the end. I thought that policeman showed poor judgement and lack of anticipation in going for an overtake of a car indicating right. The fact that the lad didn't have insurance was a "get out of jail free" card for the BiB.I didn't hear anything about the prosecution of him at the end of

I've watched a good many of these police programmes over the years and my impression of the police drving is that it isn't the gold standard that they'd have us members of the general public believe.

Probably the worst episode of Traffic Cops I've ever seen too. Nothing particularly exciting on it!

Personally I was suprised he reacted so late to the red clio's indication, which, granted was brief...
Is it on YouTube? It's worth watching again.
And yes, PC Joseph seemed a bit less firiendly than some of the other traf pol on TV.

The Irish guy's an idiot, no question.PC Joseph is a very arrogant young man, however, and I can see that he'd soon get up someones nose. I wonder how many complaints he gets each year.
The Irish guy was a t
tock of the highest order and to be fair so was the woman with the rangy and her quest to find out where the oilcame from - but the copper did come accross as far to easily riled. Probably bored of it day in day out thoguh to be fair to him.

She was an utter prat. Loads of other motors would have passed over that spillage without screwing up, she definitely needs to accept some responsibility for that.Edited by bonsai on Wednesday 14th April 23:42

Anyway, no excuse for driving without insurance and the permission of the cars owner.
