Pretty impressive. He's playing Modern Warfare 2 while riding a bicycle on rollers.

I like the idea of this as an exercise method with an exercise bike or a spinning machine....playing mw2 would take my mind off the relative struggle (for me!!!) of exercise...
There have been similar studies with using computer games as a method of dealing with pain (child in a burns unit is the one I recall) that appear to have some success.

Pah, that's nothing. I can text someone while driving. Seriously, though, how difficult is it to cycle without using the handlebars on rollers?

Get a recumbent exercise bike in front of your TV. I have one and read while pedalling. There have been similar studies with using computer games as a method of dealing with pain (child in a burns unit is the one I recall) that appear to have some success.
As for computer games/pain... I find I eat less when I play a game I enjoy. I know it's not the same as pain but it shows how useful it can be as a distraction.

Oh yeah....definitely.
I snack all day because I am bored, not interested in my work and under utilised.
Funnily enough, at home, doing diy, my other hobbies or using the xbox I can go all day without the need to eat.
Work will be the death of me....
Off to look
at recumbant exercise bikes!

Well, you say that but not eating will be the death of you. Funnily enough, at home, doing diy, my other hobbies or using the xbox I can go all day without the need to eat.

I have a Carl Lewis recumbent cycle; bought it about 5 or 6 years ago on the internet for about £150 and usually use it 3 times a week for 30-40 minutes. Has a heart rate monitor, timer etc.
