Looks good in red, but IMO the doors spoil it.

Advert is a bit of overkill too "we're awesome!"

I think it looks stunning in red, especially with the cream interior, i agree with you on the fact that the doors ruin it too. One other thing, wheels would be turning dark grey & the calipers red if I was buying.

Also, what colour is the car underneath the wrap then? Does seem a high priced car, If it has cream interior, im guessing it will be met.blue or black?

I dont get why anyone would
a) Pay 80k for a car that is worth at best 60 -
b) Pay more than its comaprable models when it isnt standard( cue those doors)
c) Pay more for a car that is not the colour on the original paperwork
d) Pay MY06/MY07 spec prices for a MY04 model without the gearing upgrade suspension upgrade engine upgrade and interior upgrade and exhaust upgrade that the newer cars (SE & MY06 onward) had...that made them such a leap forward over the early cars..

Good luck.... but in reality that car isnt worth a penny over 60 IMHO

Valid points, but it does say the car is wrapped, so easily removed which in theory should mean immaculate paint underneath...One small plus.

Agreed though £60-65k id say.

How would one know if the paintwork was immaculate underneath? Is it not possible to wrap a car thats stonechipped to hell as a cheaper option to respraying?

I'm really curious as to why people think the scissor doors spoil this, yet are considered fine on a Murci. Sometimes I think people don't like things like that solely because that's not what came standard with the car, whether it improves it or not.

Its not so much that although you have a valid point.

It's more of a point IMO that the Gallardo just doesn't "look" right with scissor doors.

Not only that but the way they opperate is a bit well pony, With the merci you pop the handle on the top of the door and with very little effort it rises.

With these after market jobbies you have to open it as you would a regular door, pull it towards you and then up whilst still holding it out so it doesn't hit the car - Its not a very seemless opperation and not one you would expect to find on a car costing upwards of 120k new.

So you think it was wrapped straight out of the factory? Very unlikely, isn't the lifespan of a wrap around 12 months or so? Who would buy it with the wrap on? How could you tell if it had a prang etc when you can't see the original paint?

Don't you just love Amari's "understated" ads. I am amazed any other dealer survives with such awesome competition! The car looks pretty average apart from the aweful doors and as stated is well overpriced. Still with such fantastic dealer skills is probably sold already.
