Sadly its never going to happen. I work in the very tall building in the middle and can tell you that the airport authority would tie themselves in health and safety knots at the merest mention. There was supposed to be some charity "run the runway" event or something equally lame a few months ago and they even put a stop to that.
Its a shame as the longest of the two runways is almost 4km long.
We were discussing the possibility on Thursday night when the place was like a ghost town as it would be amazing.
