I'd rather vote for somebody with a little more qualification than how they look in a carefully lit photo shoot............... after all its not as though we've had 13 years of gender equality & sexual discrimination rammed down our throats!

Couldn't give a flying fvck. Just renewed my car tax and it cost £15 more which is £15 more than it needs to. And nothing is stopping that oxygen thief and her jobless husband with 8 kids get another 6 children on benefits. Does 4/10 totty make me really want to vote for them?

Yep. Sums it up for me.

This is not a beauty contest.

This is a contest where the outcome is actually important and its going to be decided by people utterly unqualified to make the decision. Same as always.

The fact they're labour means that either:

a) They have st for brains
or
b) They are devious thieves (apologies to thieves everywhere).

so they can fk off out of my affairs and piggy bank. fkers.

It's ironic that these are political candidates up for election in 2010 (82 years after all women got the vote) and the parties are publishing photos of them like they're in a beauty contest.

I'm no friend of the Harperson types and dungarees but I do find this a bit condescending.

Stuff like this always makes me laugh. I know it's hardly a nudey calendar but if women want to be taken seriously and elected on their merits and nothing else then why keep on using their sexuality and looks in all these cringeworthy photoshoots?

It seems even more bizarre when most of them are only up for election because of feminists such as Harperson.

I did consider that but that's worth a whole new rant of its own considering it's a third of the value of my car. curse

It's cos the UK electorate are a bunch of political-unsophisticates who vote with their gut feelings and base urges. hehe
