Wash mitt problem
Discussion
I recently bought this- http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/m... but it's useless for getting rid of stubborn muck.
The dirt along the side of the car at the bottom, just behind the wheel, will not come off no matter how hard you scrub and it wouldn't remove the stain from a bird crap, despite scrubbing extremely hard.
Any advice on what else to use/what to do?

Bird lime is possibly the most corrosive substance most clearcoats on cars will ever come into contact with. The mark left will have etched itself onto the clearcoat and will probably only be removed once the car has been machine polished. For future reference keep some quick detailer handy and remove bird lime immediately.
You may well need to use a Citrus pre wash to help loosen any dirt, or if it is road tar, white line paint etc you will require something more aggressive.
Bilt Hamber Suffex HD is well worth buying to help remove stubborn dirt, as is a decent dish washing brush to remove stubborn dirt from the underside of the car.
Sheepskin wash mitts are for gentle cleaning, for something more aggressive and for lower body parts get one of these.

Tried some SRP on it just there and it has definitely improved it although considering there's now a blister on my thumb from how hard I was having to push it's done what it can.
Might just get the whole car machine polished rather than spending more money trying things that may not work.

There are a few scratches and such on the car though, would it be best to get someone like Chips Away to take care of what they can first?
