man_kills_pedestrian

This doesn't tell the whole story. He ran a red light hitting the pedestrian, injured a lollipop lady (in BRIGHT yellow) and later is believed to have collided with a roundabout.

This would normally raise call for cameras, and "think of the children"
But if you can't work out that a school crossing, rush hour, a woman standing in the road with a lollipop, and a red light don't say to you "slow down, and prepare to stop"

whats the bloody idiot doing in a car?
cameras outside schools seems like a good idea, but there's always one...

my sympathies go to the 4yr old daughter who has to grow up without a mother...

No. Not even slightly.

This bloke was of no fixed address. I'll bet he has no tax, or insurance and no MOT on his junker...given that this is the case - and I believe you cannot own a vehicle legally without an address (there's a question!?) for the keeper so its likely - what fear would this man have of cameras? None.

The solution:- do him for dangerous driving by spotting him in the act.

I don't believe the machines could have done a thing about it.

Agree with Don, No chance a camaera would have prevented this from happening.
