What tattoo? And where?
Discussion
Thinking about getting a tattoo.
Can't make my mind up on where to get it done. Don't want it too obvious but also don't want it hidden away where nobody will see it. Where do you think is a good place?
Anybody got one or know of any good designs? Don't say piston heads, I saw that thread!
Im thinking chilli on inside bicep

A tattoo is personal and a mark of your individuality, by asking us you negate both those points IMO.
Do what YOU want.

My advice after having a few is if you see your design look at it and forget it for a week. Go back to it and see if it stll appeals then walk away for a week, do this for 10 weeks and if it still looks awesome then you may not regret it in the future.
10 week to decide something that will be on you for 70 years is a small price to pay.
I did this and still catch mine in the mirror and think my god they are good, I know people who walked in and say "f
k I wish someone talked me out of tweety pie"

I have a large biomech tattoo on my upper right arm, almost reaching the elbow (pics in the main tattoo thread) and I first decided I wanted it doing in May 2008. It wasn't until December 2008 that I actually got it started and wasn't until summer 2009 that it was finished.
Flash tattoos/unoriginality/indecisiveness are not what's good in this area.

completely agree with the motion of get one that you want, others can give ideas as long as you develop them and make them your own. Also make sure that you are comfortable with placement.
I am not in a position where it would be okay to have a visible tattoo, so have mine on the inside of my bicep high enough to be covered by a short shirt/ T-shirt sleeve.
mine is wifes initials and date of our wedding, all the more pertinent as i'm so scared of needles i wont even hold a pin cushion, the artist though i was quite girly especially when my second biggest fear (wasps) entered the room half way through causing me to cry a little!
couldn't be happier with it though

Can you get your money back from the tattoist for not lining everything up or giving a s
t about how disparate the whole thing looks? Reminds me of the old Max Power manufacturer logos down the side of chav-mobiles.
Nothing against the content of each individual tattoo, but at least try and make them compliment each other ffs...
Oh, and the two Beemer ones are s
