Vegas car hire

Hi, I'm sure it's been done to death, but couldnt find anything that answers my question, via the search function.

I'm off to Vegas soon and want to hire a car. What are the best companies to use?

I've tried:
Hertz - got a good deal on a 'stang
Dollar - seemed rubbish and you cant chose specific cars, just car types
Budget - Doesnt do what it says on the tin...

Are there any other good ones I should try?

Cheapest I've found anywhere, I use them all the time.

Much cheaper than going direct, although you can only choose the class of car.

Try Avis, they are in the foyer of the Venetian, I found them to be excellent. Not necessarily the cheapest but a good choice of new(ish) clean cars.

Just hired a Merc C300 from Advantage who are based at the airport. They have a 50% off upgrades deal at the desk which might be worth considering. So hire a cheaper car and upgrade when you land
