Chaps,

I'm having a bit of a crisis.

I've decided to buy a new addition to the collection and i'm rather stumped as to what to buy.

Current thoughts are (both Rolex) a Millgauss or an Explorer II.

I've already got a Sub and and a Oyster Date and my daily watch is a Tudor Big Block.

I'm not really an Omega person, any ideas of what else i should be looking at?

Budget is around £5k.

TIA smile

I'm not really a big JLC fan.

Has anyone seen a 2010MY Submariner in the metal yet?

I was looking at a green glass Milegauss today but would like to compare with a new Sub.

I'm confused now...

IMO the Ceramic Sub is horrible. The lugs are way too big and make the bracelet look tiddly.

I just want to see one so i can put my mind at rest, no-one has one, not even in Property Developer bi-metal. hehe

I do fancy the Milegauss though, the only thing that puts me off is the lack of a date.

£5k or just, over will get you a Millgauss and an Explorer II if you buy pre-owned.

As for alternatives how about

I'm not huge on buying pre-owned.

£4300 buys the new green glass Millgauss i was viewing today.

Bloody southerners with your inflated prices...

Very nice indeed, enjoy!

Here's a question (as I don't really know!) - what's the significance of the green sapphire? Not having seen one is it noticeably different?

It looks odd with the clear glass IMO.
