E Class Ipod Kit - Please Help!!!

Is that an E240? Looks just like my old SLK230!
I helped a friend fit a Parrot Bluetooth kit to his Porsche 964? wekend before last. Can't remember the model but it had Bluetooth, iPhone/iPod / USB, natty liitle display and internal amp. It plugged in via the ISO connectors on his stereo (which would work with your MB stereo) and muted the output from that while playing. Remote controlled. Would also charge the iPod/Phone or play music from USB. I was very impressed.
Your other alternative would be to ditch that head unit - it's very old hat - and replace with something iPod compatible. Decent audio is cheap as chips these days.

Thanks for that - I'll check out the Parrot offering for both the Merc and my 964 now you mention it. I dont really want to change the head unit as the car only has 25,000 miles (2000 reg) and I want to keep everything as standard as possible. With regards to the pic its just one from google so probably is from an SLK
Both have the same basic features but the 9200 also has an SD Card slot and a colour screen that also shows album artwork etc
