If you've not had him back after almost a week you can manage without him.

He sounds like a bellend anyway.

Unfortunately this could be where the cycle begins.

He says sorry, you forgive him and you do love him.....

Next time its worse, he says sorry, you forgive him and you do love him.....

Then he starts knocking you around, but says he's sorry, you forgive him and you do love him.........

Need I go on? frown

Drink can really make you say and do things you would not normally do. If he is genuinely sorry I would give him the benefit of the doubt this time

That is pretty bad thing to say tbh, don't think I would accept it but you said you love him and he has apologised. It really is down to you whether you want it to work or not. If not you have a clear 'out' now, if yes then am sure you can work past it.

He's called a young child a cu*t in front of its mother. That should tell you all you need to know about the bloke - he's a tossser. I also don't buy the whole "he was pissed and would never have normally said it" line. This is an excuse which bellends use to try and justify to themselves (and others) why they behave like bellends. Not being tactful when drunk is understandable; downright abuse is not. It's easy to blame the drink rather than taking a long, hard look at yourself.

i wouldnt accept it if he raised his hand to me, thats why my daughters dad hasnt been on the scene, he did it to me while i was pregnant, and he proved he didnt care by not even acknowleging her exsistance anymore! so i know where the line is!
As i say we have been talking like normal again, but only through text. ive been thinking about seeing if he can prove to me hes not going to do it again before considering trying again.

he sounds like a walking cess-pit

you only need one toilet in your life

ditch the prat

really

he isn't worth staying with, given what is implicit in the words he used for your daughter

trust the others in your family

if he'd been like this with one of my family

(we're Scots too, THIS IS PH I can be irrelevant too)

he'd be in pieces

in several places

I'd say you did well to acknoledge there's a problem. A lot of girls now-a-days seem scared to admit when a parter goes too far.
