No matter what topic is started on this forum there is always somebody on hand who really knows their stuff OR has experience in the area.
- Ask about computer issues and there are a load of IT guy's who can help you out
- Ask about tattoo's and there is a guy who runs a parlour to help you out
- Ask about a university and there is somebody who has been there and done the course
- Ask about how to get revenge on a bunch of chavs and you get a great response
It is really a great resource.. give yourself a pat on the back

PH is one of the most phenomenal resources on the 'net, IMO.
LadyV8 is insanely jealous that there isn't a similar 'place' for ladies where the conversation and member resources extend beyond clothes and babies.

I'd say it was becuase liking cars transends all social boundaries. Someone somewhere in almost every profession will have a ponchant for the automobile. Thus there is always someone who knows something about a subject you do not who also likes cars.
Because of this mutual respect, people are willing to help with most problems.
