Karting in/near Edinburgh?

I'm heading up to Edinburgh in July for my stag weekend, and we were planning to go karting on the outdoor track at Raceland, but having contacted them, it seems that we have to pay for a minimum of 16 people. Since there are only 9 of us (or probably more realistically 7 or 8 as there will always be a couple of party poopers who don't want to - or are too hungover to - participate), that means it would cost well over £100 each which is a complete no no. I'm very disappointed as I was *really* looking forward to it, but that's life I guess!

So, I'm throwing it open to you to recommend other karting venues or other stag events (preferably involving internal combustion engines of some sort) that I could consider. We'll be staying in the centre of Edinburgh, so it needs to be relatively easy to get to from there.

The Scottish PHer's have had a few nights out to here. Very good and all gear is supplied. How you would get to it though is another question.
