Just let it do its thing and it will eventually come up with any HP update you need

^^Well not really. It does do many thinks like updates, disk defragment, cleans recent history etc. If you go into settings you can tick or un-tick many options.

The thing is though in my opinion it's pretty unnecessary as it doesn't do anything that you can't do yourself. It is also in my opinion an appalling bit of software & is incredibly slow, I don't know if it's simply an awful bit of software or maybe it's not totally compatible with W7.

I have clicked "never" in the schedule settings, thinking about it now though I don't know why I haven't totally uninstalled it. redcard

I just let it run. I'm too lazy on my main PC. I only ever surf the internet so let it run in the background. However, mine is fairly quick.

I uninstalled it on my Vista machine, got fed up of the stupid pop-ups that roughly said 'im going to make your pc slow for no advantage over the next 5mins'.
