Alpina B10 E39 paint code location

good morning all.

I am having trouble finding the paint code for my E39 B10. Under the bonnet i cannot find anything apart from the chassis codes. Does anyone know where i should be looking?

I have seen those two, ill go down and check again. What sort of format is the paint code in?

From memory the plate on the side of the wheel arch just has the chassis code and the vehicle weights. The one of the suspension turret is just a two lines of stamping. 1 i presume is the old bmw code (crossed out) and the second is the new alpina code..?

If it's the same as mine (2001), should be on the near side turret, facing towards the inner wing: a black sticker, silver printing. If yours is Carbon Black, & you still can't find it, let me know...
