recently heard a few people on here mention 4chan when referring to images, thought I'd have a look. Couldnt find a tab for funny images so I clicked on random and plain as day there were indecent images of what look to be like very young teens. Who regulates this sort of thing and where would you report it? makes me sick to my stomach that its there!
Report content of that sort to the Internet Watch Foundation http://www.iwf.org.uk/
Make sure you give your details when you do it as they will keep a record and it can be used in your defence if necessary.

uh huh. Operation Ore is still in effect, expect a knock soon.4Chan isn't regulated that much at all, by my understanding, though kiddy porn gets pulled quickly and they collectively (and famously) screwed over a cat abuser which must give them some karma cache. TBH, though, it's just not worth wading through all the crap that gets posted for the odd gem- the memes make it out onto the wider net, anyway. I prefer the b3ta board for junk like this:

Does make me glad I did most of my growing up before the internet really took off, though.

PH has shrunk the image, if you copy the image location you'll be able to read it.Merlot said:

While I don't agree with a lot of what is posted there I'll defend to the death their right to anonymous free speech.
Even if that anonymous free speech includes the distribution of child pornography?no I wouldnt defend anything that distributes child porn but in the past even my ex said I was a peado because I had a filth folder that had 18 year olds in it. Thats the danger, in this day and age of "somebody thing of the children" there is s
t that isnt an issue being turned into an issue
t that isnt an issue being turned into an issueI'm not a fan of 4chan, but I think that labelling it as a hub for CP distribution is overkill. It's an anonymous message board like has been around since the start of the internet, populated by some pretty immature individuals with the odd warped mind, and bad s
t (not just CP) gets posted because of it.
Something that does strike me as a potentially interesting development which I hadn't considered before 4chan is that on boards predominantly populated by teenagers who have now had access to porn/sexual imagery for years and are shagging, or dreaming about shagging their classmates is that they could quite easily be making their own illegal porn, legally...
If the plod kicked down your door & you had loads of kinky pics of your ex from when you were both 15 or 17, say, would you be classed as a raging paedophile, or would that be the statutory rape equivelant of producing kiddy porn/obscene imagery?

I attended a session at my elder child's secondard school and was told by the CEOPS lieason that the majority of indecent images and video of teenage girls are self posted. That single statement shocked some 200 adults in to silence. The big takeaways from that session from me were, if in any doubt report it to CEOPS and keep a reference incase the BiB come knocking.
